King Ying Lo Restaurant was incorporated all the way back in 1911 by Homer Gam, Gee Gay, and Leu Ming Toy but I found an ad from 1908 so it goes back further. They once featured musical acts like Wayne's Orchestra. By 1919, a notice appeared in the newspapers indicating the restaurant was changing owners and the Ying Lo owners would no longer be responsible for any debts. That section of Lafayette is totally different than it was in the early 1900's so I assume the original structure for this restaurant was demolished long ago.
