This one is a bit confusing. The intersection in question is M-18 and M-55. We have Kronner Drugs in the old 1960's postcard and the store exists today at that intersection. However, the current structure is well set back from the street. The old postcard shows it being right on the roadside. Kitty corner from that is what used to be the Alpine Inn.
The odd part is the historical aerial photo from 1960 don't really line up that well with the postcard photos. If we assume Kronner Drug sits on the same corner as it did in the 60's that would put the Alpine Inn on the lot where the closed Burger King sits or the current Walgreens (2023). Either way, it appears the old Alpine Inn building has been demolished.
