The Colony Motel in Pearl Beach goes back to the mid 1950's. In the 1990's it was run by Jim Bierman per an article in the newspaper from that time. It is still operating as of 2022 and the reviews are good. The place looks very nice. I also found an ad for Pearl Beach Bar & Motel at this address from 1959. The place was run by James and Annette Vannoy back then.
