The Admiral Motel goes back to the 1950's. It appears it started out as a single structure then a second, separate wing was built later. By the 1970's, it was kind of an extended stay joint and some crimes started happening in and around the motel. It was put up for sale in 1986.
A body was found in a car there in 1987. Things like that tend to irritate the local residents, which is understandable. Pressure begins to rid themselves of the place and eventually the motel was demolished around 2010. A Ford Dealer is using the property for a parking lot as of 2025.
