I remember the 24 Carat being a good rock club. It started out as an old line supper club with lounge and jazz music for many years. I went there in the 70's and 80's and there were tons of rock bands there. Oddly, I am not finding much on it online or in the newspaper archives, at least the rock and roll era I remember. I remember seeing Zooster here and they had flash pots going off during the ending of "Bad Motor Scooter" from Montrose. Good times. The building still stands "The Jazz Club" although Google Maps isn't listing it as being open as of 2024.
